The 1st Generation Toyota Succeed was introduced in 2002. The 2002 Toyota Succeed is a front engine front/four wheel drive 5-door 5-seater commercial compact station wagon. The Toyota Succeed 1st Generation is based upon the Toyota Probox but was designed to be a more comfortable and refined variant of the Toyota Probox. The Toyota Succeed 2002 is offered in 2 variants TX and TX G. Production of the 1st Generation Toyota Succeed lasted for 11 years; the Toyota Succeed was available to purchase in the years 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and the year 2012. The price of the 2002 Toyota Succeed is fairly competitive when compared to other cars in the same class available in the local market.


The 1st Generation Toyota Succeed features a fairly minimalistic and boxy design language. The front end houses slim narrow rectangular style side swept headlights, an angular chrome rectangular grille, a large bumper with horizontal black colored accents running on opposite ends and a slightly angular rectangular style air intake. The rear end features rectangular stacked vertical side swept taillights, an outward sticking bumper, the rear windscreen wiper and a standard case tailgate. All variants of the Toyota Succeed feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior of the 2002 Toyota Succeed features a fairly boxy and van like design.


The interior of the 2002 Toyota Succeed compromises of black plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric. Standard features include air conditioning, power windows, power steering, power door mirrors, power lock doors, cup holders, a stereo speaker audio system and a tachometer. Features on the higher end TX G variant include leather upholstery and automatic climate control Options include satellite navigation and a sunroof. The overall interior of the 1st Generation Toyota Succeed offers very good interior space in both the front and rear with a large practical cargo capacity in the rear, it also provides ample comfort and noise insulation levels.
