AMSOIL Signature Series 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil SP - 1 Litre

Amsoil Signature Series 0W-40 is a synthetic motor oil of the AMSOIL premium product series "Signature Series 100% Synthetic Motor Oil". The US company Amsoil Inc. has been shaping the international lubricant business for decades. The company slogan "First in Synthetics" reveals: Amsoil was the manufacturer of the first API-certified synthetic motor oil and has since been regarded as a producer of high-quality automotive, motorcycle and industrial lubricants, preceded by the Signature Series products.

Amsoil tests Amsoil Signature Series engine oils according to the test procedure that must be successfully completed to achieve GM dexos1 Gen 2 approval, which was introduced exclusively to solve the LSPI problem in smaller turbocharged engines. They are thus suitable for the prevention of damage due to low speed pre-ignitions.

The Amsoil Signature Series formulation is targeted at applications with high demands - those characterized by high temperatures and material friction. The requirement profile for such a formulation is therefore primarily good protection against heat and deposits or wear! AMSOIL Siganture Series oils are designed precisely for this purpose. 

As an SAE 0W-40 viscosity grade synthetic engine oil, Amsoil Signature Series 0W-40 engine oil meets the API SN Plus specification. This makes it ideal for use in American vehicles for which the use of an engine oil of viscosity 0W-40 in conjunction with the specification API SN or API SN Plus is prescribed or approved for use.
