The 2nd Generation Hyundai Excel was introduced in 1989. Hyundai Excel is a front engine front wheel drive subcompact sedan. Hyundai Excel was the first front-wheel drive car manufactured by the South Korean manufacturer and the car is also known as Hyundai Pony, Hyundai Presto and Hyundai Precis in other regions of the world.
