The exterior of the 1st Generation Mercedes C-Class features a very boxy design language. The front fascia compromises of rectangular headlights, a rectangular chrome grille with multiple inlets, an angular trapezium shaped front intake and a small bumper. The rear end features triangle styled stacked rear taillights. The styling of the 5-door station wagon features identical styling apart from the fact that is slightly longer to accommodate the rear doors. The C36 AMG variant featured a larger front grille with a larger front intake, a larger rear bumper, and dual sport exhaust tips. The overall exterior of the 1st Generation Mercedes C-Class is very square shaped and features minimalistic styling.
Interior
The interior of the 1st Generation Mercedes C-Class compromises the use of light brown plastic trim pieces. The seats are covered in fabric. Standard features on the base variant include cup holders, power windows, power steering, power lock doors, power heated mirrors, keyless entry, cruise control, and air conditioning.
