What’s New For 2025?

The two-row Subaru Forester offers a comfortable and pleasant interior. Starting from the mid-level trims, you get nice materials like a leather-wrapped gear shifter and heated and ventilated front seats. The back seat is roomy, with plenty of space for adults to stretch out, and the cargo area is generous even with the rear seats in use. 

The back seats fold in a 60/40 split, providing up to 75 cubic feet of cargo space when flat. Subaru says this new generation has improved soundproofing for a quieter ride. Roof rails come standard on every Forester, and a hands-free power tailgate is now available as an option.

Inside, all but the base Forester models come with a large 11.6-inch infotainment touchscreen featuring standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A wireless smartphone charging pad is also included for added convenience. The base model, however, comes with a dual 7.0-inch display similar to the previous-generation Forester, which still supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
