Datsun 120 Y - 1977 (Eleanor)

Damn, this was ma first ride, woo the joy of having it for the first time, got it from Mufti sb, i did a lot of re-do. Overhauled complete engine, Complete suspension, rack end assembly, pinion, front shocks, then i came to ignition as it was giving me a headache of long self, completely revamped the ignition system, replaced distributor, rotor, sparkplugs, powerwires, installed brand new battery, ballast resistor, coil, etc to get it started before you can say 'start'. Then overhauled the gas system, tuned it to a point where i went for fun to pirsohawa just to test it on gas, i wanted it to be a lionness, and it certainly is, installed new tyres on it, went for soft threadbelted radials, 13" heavyduty on imported alloy rims. when i was comfortable that it could go anywhere, one day in morning i headed out to chitral, and you certainly know it is a test. we were back home by midnight safely. M thinking of heading naran next summer if i keep it till then. Aint got any job pending in it rather than little body work and paintjob, I have kept it pending for a reason. , When i got it, lets just say it was a 'not so good' kinda thing inside, specially dashboard was quite disgusting, I downloaded manuals for it, and opened it myself, redone all of dash myself, and installed back, It was in my wishlist to turn the meter to glowing version, and one sunday i found the answer to that also. guess what, i did it myself too. now it glows like in xli. I removed all the seats, and washed them, removed the carpet, washed it, painted where the namda was missing, so that rust may be prevented, washed the roof, and when i couldnt satisfy myself i took it to a detailer, he took 2500 and washed it from top till bottom with chemicals, Got it sparkling, disinfected, and fresh. I got the door-sidings (pallay) installed, special foamy versions, got the dashlogo found form sultan da khooh, it took half a day to just find that darn logo. Aaah the clock was not working, u cant believe the time i spent finding the right version for it. Atlast got the genuine manual clock, turned its dial also into a glow version, and the same day i installed the cdplayer in it also. re positioned the gas switching button, and am thinking of getting a tacho installed in it with oil pressure, One of my dreams is to have gear indicator installed. means when i am in 2nd gear, a LCD showing 2 must be showing it off. installed 25% black tinting inside the windows, and pro rear sunshade on the rear windscreen., white racing stripes seemed necessary so installed em, current color is not my favourite and i WILL change it, thinking of silver or dark purplish blue, ofcourse metallic 2k, veh has been roughly used by previous owners, so body needs a little work, and paint job is due, i installed a autobot logo on the back side of the rear wind screen and wrote my son's name on it. tried to repair the automatic antenna inside the rear boot but its motor was too jammed. Installed automatic light in boot, so that when diggi opens at night, there should be adequate lighting to get luggage out. got some stickers on the driver side door, just black smalltime vinyl lettering. in a fender bender door started squealing so i tried to repair it. and wrong tools left their marks on the door siding. After paintjob inshallah it will also get fine. Front grill change is on my wishlist. also to change the default grill with double head light grill. I changed the rear broken tail lights with fresh ones. looks nice now.
