Fairest Review I Could Offer

2015 Yamaha YBR 125

Posted by Daniyal Jatoi on Aug 03, 2015

Familiarity: I owned this bike.
Just bought the bike. Already own a Honda CG-125 2011 Model. The YBR-125 is almost half the weight of the CG-125 which makes one wonder first about the road grip of the bike. Secondly, The fuel tank is a plus because of it being 13L but the negative thing about the fuel tank is the plastic coverings on the sides of the fuel tank which make it impossible for a typical family guy to make any kid sit on the fuel tank. Third, If the plastic coverings are removed the fuel tank looks awkward. Fourth, The chain cover is not as strong as it should ... More

Impressive Motorcycle

2015 Yamaha YBR 125

This bike looks absolutely gorgeous when compared to all the other street bikes currently in retail. The drive is smooth, and the machining of parts is top-notch.

Fuel Economy is at 40km/L and that is well and good for Islamabad since it's mostly hilly (in areas like Karachi or Multan I'd expect a better fuel economy). Since the fuel tank is 13L (2.6L reserve) one can easily drive for about 500kms before refilling. Note: the Ravi 125 has a 19L tank but that is absurd (it increases the weight dramatically, imagine driving with around 1... More

YAMAHA YBR 125 Comparison

2015 Yamaha YBR 125

Posted by Imran Sher on Jul 22, 2015

Familiarity: I did not own this bike, but have driven this bike.
Well i have seen Yamaha closely, it has a stylish look and bike design seems fine as well. I have used Suzuki GS 150 but quality of body paint & chrome and parts are not up-to mark. Honda deluxe is a nice bike, also well shaped but vibration problem is there. Also re-sale as compared to CG 125 is a drawback. Now after all this looking at Yamaha i think only problem seems is the re-sale only, Otherwise features and body-wise its better than available bikes.
Fuel efficiency in Pakistan depends more on a petrol pump ;), Having said that... Amaizing looking thing

2015 Yamaha YBR 125

Posted by Asadullah on May 24, 2015

Familiarity: I did not own this bike, but have driven this bike.
I was waiting to see YBR 125 for the last 6 months, I compere it with Ravi piaggio and Honda delux. No doubt its great looking bike, some plastic work on Tanki doesn't feel nice, it kinda doubled the size of tanki , visually. 13 Litter for such a huge tank sounds very little. Comparing it with RP Storm 19 Litter tank, I always find RP 125 amazing in every thing. Some how , looking at YBR 125, I personally feel that it lacks in the value for money we paid. butterfly type carb is new in any 125 in Pakistan. I wish this bike to succeed in her... More
