Changan is one of the new entrants in the Pakistani auto industry. The Chinese car brand is still settling in the local market. We have started to see the newly launched Changan Alsvin on the roads. Now, the company has plans to enter the local SUV segment. For that, it’s testing a few models here in Pakistan. After Changan UNI-T and Changan Oshan X7, the company has imported Changan UNI-K for trials and testing.
According to the import data by PAKISTAN EXIM TRADE INFO, a CBU unit of Changan UNI-K SUV arrived in Pakistan on the 16th of July.
A Look at the Changan UNI-K
Changan UNI-K is a midsize crossover SUV. It’s the second one of the company’s UNI lineup. Launched by the end of 2020, the Chinese SUV is still making headlines. Some reviewers have called it the “poor man’s Porsche Cayenne Coupe” because the two SUVs have so much in common.
Changan UNI-K being featured in so many reviews is all thanks to its striking beauty. It’s a blend of all the hottest car designs, a bit like Mercedes, a bit like Volkswagen, and a lot like Porsche.

Chinese should have good names for the cars. Changan name is nit understood at all, so is the case with FAW, DFSK, Haval, and many more. Let me apprise that name has definite contributions towards products sale. Second is the shape of cars, Chinese needs to have a deep look towards that aspect as well. Caravan shale is not well defines and many others. Third is built quality, though I haven’t used any but experience and reviews testifies that Chinese products lack there as well.
