KARACHI – Ghandhara Automobiles Limited (GAL) is gearing up to deliver the much-anticipated JAC T9 Frison 4×2 variant to customers, signaling the official rollout of its more affordable pickup option.
Just days after reports surfaced about GAL’s plans to introduce a two-wheel-drive (2WD) version of the popular JAC T9 Hunter, the company has confirmed that deliveries are about to begin.
Price and Booking Details
While the official price remains undisclosed, Ghandhara Motors has announced that booking and pricing details for the JAC T9 Frison 2X will be revealed on October 9, the official launch date.
Earlier, the company also confirmed the model’s official name—T9 Frison 2X—along with subtle design updates. The new variant is designed for customers seeking the same comfort and utility as the T9 Hunter, but at a more affordable price point.
Expected Features
According to GAL, the T9 Frison 2X will retain all features of the Hunter model, with the only significant change being the drivetrain. Instead of a 4×4 setup, the Frison 2X will feature a 4×2 (rear-wheel-drive) configuration.
To visually differentiate the variant, the Frison 2X will feature a redesigned front grille and unique alloy wheel patterns. However, aside from these minor aesthetic changes, the rest of the specifications and feature set will remain identical to the T9 Hunter.
The T9 Frison 2X marks GAL’s latest step in expanding its product lineup in Pakistan’s growing pickup truck market, offering customers more variety and value within the JAC brand.
