“Haval H6 Beats Sportage, MG HS & Tucson in Every Way”- Owner’s Review
Crossovers and SUVs are the most happening segments of the Pakistani market. From Chinese to South Korean, Malaysian, Japanese, and French, we have a variety of crossovers battling it out. Today, we have the owner of the newly launched Chinese crossover, the Haval H6. The owner is head over heels in love with his car, and here are all the reasons why.
Purchase & Price
The owner was on his way to Peshawar on his Kia Sportage when he first saw this car on the motorway, and it was love at first sight. He was already thinking about upgrading from Sportage to another crossover. One look at the Haval H6, and he knew this was the one.
Unfortunately, the car was not available for booking at the time, so he had to pay on money. He purchased the Haval H6 2022 for Rs. 7.5 million.
Fuel Average
The biggest concern people have with these crossovers is their fuel average, which in this case is surprisingly good. The owner’s H6 gives him a fuel average of 8 to 9 kilometres per litre in the city and 12 to 13 km/L on the highway.
Drive
The owner says the driving pleasure of Haval H6 is amazing. The 1.5L turbo engine is powerful with fast acceleration. H6 has an aluminium chassis, which makes the car very lightweight. So, even though it’s bigger than Sportage, HS, and Tucson, H6 does not feel underpowered or sluggish like them.
For a Chinese car, H6 has really soft suspension, much better than MG HS.
Looks
Haval H6 is the most attractive crossover in Pakistan, hands down. The modern exterior and interior styling give you the feel of a super luxurious car worth three to four crore rupees.
Comfort
Luxury is the middle name of Haval H6, and you can tell as soon as you enter the cabin. Welcoming leather seats, ample head and legroom for all passengers, trunk space, and storage spaces inside the cabin make the drive comfortable and fun.
Features
Haval H6 is also the most feature-rich crossover in Pakistan. No other crossover packs a punch of features like this one. Take the 8.6-inch Multi-Information Display (MID) screen for an example. It’s something we have never seen in a C-segment crossover before.
Then, there are features like the 10.25-inch entertainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, four drive modes (Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow), three steering modes (Sport, Comfort, Light), panoramic sunroof, dual automatic climate control, and so much more.
Safety
You may think the owner is exaggerating, but H6 is also the safest crossover out there. It has every safety feature of the book, eight airbags, ABS, Electrical Park Brake (EPB), Auto Hold, Lane Assist, Traction Control, Auto Emergency Brakes, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Forward Collision Warning, Traffic Jam Assistance, Driver Drowsiness Detection, Over Speed Warning, Car Locating Function, Auto Crash Unlock, Parking Aid System, 360 Camera, Side Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, and more.
That does sound like a lot, but it’s all true. In simple words, Haval H6 has an entry-level autopilot system.
Spare Parts
The availability of spare parts is a big question mark for imported CBU cars like the H6. But Haval has built a strong dealership network across the country, and the spare parts are readily available there. However, spare parts for Haval crossovers cost a lot more than locally assembled cars.
Final Words on Haval H6
H6 checks every single box on the list. In the words of the owner—”No other crossover in Pakistan is as feature-rich as Haval H6. This one is above Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, MG HS, and all others. I am extremely impressed and happy with my car.”
