JAECOO J7 PHEV Launched in Pakistan – Price, Booking Details and Exclusive Images
Earlier on August 1, Nishat Motors introduced the JAECOO J6 and OMODA E5, both all-electric compact SUVs offered at very competitive prices.
However, as we all know, Pakistan’s EV infrastructure is still developing, and fully electric cars aren’t yet practical for mass buyers.
To counter this, Nishat Motors decided to go with another hybrid approach to cover a wider range of buyers, e.g., PHEV. Yes, Nishat Motors has just launched the all-new JAECOO J7 PHEV in Pakistan. A locally assembled, mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV.
For those concerned about range anxiety or looking for a family vehicle suitable for inter-city travel with an electrified powertrain, this PHEV presents a compelling option.
Price and Booking Details
Nishat has launched the J7 PHEV in two trims: the base “Comfort” and the top-spec “Premium”. Both are PHEVs with the same power and are identical, except for some safety and interior features that are trimmed down in the Comfort variant.
The introductory ex-factory price of the JAECOO J7 PHEV is Rs. 9,999,000 (1 Cr) for the Premium variant, valid until 30th November 2025. Bookings are now open with an advance payment of Rs. 2,000,000 (20 lacs), while deliveries will commence from mid-December 2025.
Warranty Coverage
In a brand-new car which is officially available in Pakistan, one of the main thing that matters most is the warranty, and Nishat Motors is providing a comprehensive warranty package:
- Vehicle warranty: 6 years or 150,000 km (whichever comes first)
- Battery warranty: 8 years or 160,000 km (whichever comes first)

What International Reviewers Are Saying About the JAECCO J7 PHEV
“The interior quality is really impressive. Feels solid and expensive, soft-touch materials everywhere.”
“It actually looks quite nice, I can see bits of Range Rover in it. A smart-looking car with elegant styling.”
“You could replace the badge with an Audi and assume it’s a premium German car, it looks that good.”
“Comfortable, quiet, and refined. Road noise is minimal, and engine noise is impressively well isolated.”
Competition
Positioned in the mid-size PHEV SUV segment, the JAECOO J7 directly competes with some of the most recognized names in its class, including the Haval H6 PHEV, Forthing Friday, and the MG HS PHEV.
Most notably, the MG HS PHEV is priced almost the same as the JAECOO J7 PHEV. So, buyers considering the MG HS PHEV now have another option to look at — the JAECOO J7 PHEV — as both are Chinese-origin, mid-size SUVs featuring plug-in hybrid powertrains.
