It’s been about two weeks since Kia Lucky Motors launched the new Kia Sportage L in the local market, and we have received an update regarding the booking of the crossover SUV. As per the company’s notification, “the launch of the all-new Kia Sportage L on February 6, 2025, has sparked an incredible response from customers, leading to high demand and rapid bookings. Kia is deeply grateful for the trust and enthusiasm shown by its customers, which has contributed to the remarkable success of this latest SUV.”
Booking & Delivery – New Update
The local carmaker communicated that due to the overwhelming demand, Sportage L HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) deliveries are fully booked until April 2025. However, Kia has now opened bookings for the May 2025 batch of Sportage L HEV with a partial payment of Rs. 5,000,000 for a limited quota.
Meanwhile, the Sportage L ALPHA and FWD variants remain open for bookings on a full payment basis, with deliveries scheduled for March and April 2025. Kia dealerships have also commenced deliveries for previously booked Sportage L models.
Price Lock Offer
To benefit customers, Kia has announced a ‘price lock’ policy for orders made on full payment for deliveries until April 2025 (tentative delivery month as per PBO). However, customers should note that any changes in government-imposed duties, taxes, or levies at the time of delivery will be applicable and must be borne by the customer before receiving the vehicle.
