“Toyota Fortuner Legender Has a Very Sporty Look”, – First Look Review

As you have seen news and pictures of new Toyota Fortuner Legender on social media, we are here with the first look review of the SUV. It is the top-of-the-line variant of Fortuner and it is most expensive locally assembled car by Toyota in Pakistan. This generation was launched in 2016, and last year it got a facelift.

The main differences in this car are its cosmetic changes, which have revamped the whole look of the car to very stylish and sporty.

Exterior

The car has now Quad LED Projection Headlamps compared to Bi-Beam in the standard Fortuner. You can also see Legender style DRLs and Fog Lamps and the company has installed sequential turn signals and Front Parking Sensors in the car.

The front grille has piano black accents with a mesh silver skid plate at the bottom. On the side, its distinguished feature is its 18-inch Alloy Wheels with new machine cut and chrome design. In some international markets the size of this alloy wheel is 19-inch, however, 18-inch is standard globally. Moreover, the side step is in black color compared to silver in other variants.

The Side View Mirrors have LED indicators but they are not sequential, while the door handles are also chrome. The are a number of noticeable changes in the back including, Sequential LED Indicators, black parts instead of chrome, and Rear Parking Sensors.

Along with exterior, there are several major changes in the interior. First thing is its new two-tone, Black and Maroon, interior color. Toyota Pakistan is offering ambient lights in Central Cluster, Door Controls and Front Foot.

The seats’ material is now Peripheral Leather which is softer and comfortable than the previous seat material.  Furthermore, there is addition of red stitching around Steering Wheel and glossy black finish in Central Console.

The color of Instrumental Cluster has been changed as it is now completely white with red accents.

AC

The Legender has Dual Zone Climate Control as standard. It means both driver and passenger can set the temperature of AC as per their comfort.

Price of Toyota Fortuner Legender

The current price of Toyota Fortuner Legender is Rs. 10,842,000, which is Rs. 450,000 less than standard Fortuner Sigma E4. However, with this price increase you are getting a number of new features in the SUV.

    I like its front look and interior, the combination between Maroon and Black is good idea, however, it would have been better if the company was offering an option for choosing black and chocolate brown as well. Moreover, the vehicle would have looked even more rugged had its roof or pillars been offered in black.
