Toyota’s All-New Hilux Goes Electric for the First Time, Launching December 2025

Coming in spring 2026, the Hybrid 48V Hilux blends a 2.8L turbo-diesel engine with a 48V motor. The system improves fuel efficiency and acceleration, while keeping Hilux’s trademark strength:

• Tows up to 3.5 tons
• Handles 700 mm wading depth
