Yamaha R6 Skull Edition – Owner’s Review
Today we are here with an owner’s review of the amazing Yamaha R6! The owner Arsalan told us all about his fancy ride that stands out in the crowd.
Make and Model
We asked about the make and model of the bike, and Arsalan told us that this is a 2011 model. The bike was imported in 2014, and Arsalan has owned it for the past 3 years. The bike has skulls all over it and is called the Skull Edition.
Maintenance of Yamaha R6
The Yamaha R6 is easy to maintain, according to its owner. Arsalan shared that its spare parts are easily available in the market and are also very affordable.
Arsalan has ridden this bike for around 10,000 to 15,000 kilometers in the past 3 years. He is very fond of taking his bike out daily and also vlogs his riding sessions.
The Yamaha R6 releases a lot of heat, so Arsalan suggests riding it during the winters, mostly. During hot, humid days, it is hard to bear the heat being emitted by the bike. Another drawback of the bike is its braking. When compared to its competitors, the bike’s braking ability is quite weak, and it doesn’t stop right away.
Modifications
Arsalan has installed several after-market accessories in his Yamaha R6. A few of those include lever protectors, a damper, a front visor, an SC Project exhaust, and carbon fiber wrap on the rear seat.
The front of the bike is also adorned by the latest stealth mirrors that are all the rage nowadays. Arsalan admits that these stealth mirrors are purely for aesthetic purposes and have no practical use.
Price of Yamaha R6
Arsalan had bought his Yamaha R6 for Rs. 1.75 million 3 years ago. Nowadays, the same bike is available for Rs. 1.8-2 million.
If you had Rs. 2 million, would you buy this bike? Share with us in the comments below!
