Today we have a treat for Kawasaki bikes lovers. We have interviewed two bike enthusiasts who are proud owners of the Kawasaki ZX 10R and Kawasaki Z 10RR. Junaid and Ahmed are bike aficionados who love their beast bikes. Let’s take a look at the features of both bikes, how they are different, and which one you should buy.
Model & Price
Junaid owns a Kawasaki ZX 10R 2017 model. He bought it around 6 months ago for Rs. 4.5 million (45 lacs). The last import year of this bike is 2021. On the other hand, Ahmed owns a Kawasaki ZX 10RR 2017 model. He bought this around 9-10 months ago for Rs. 4.9-5.0 million (49-50 lacs).
In Pakistan, the price difference between both bikes is almost Rs. 4-5 million, but internationally they both have a price difference of $ 8,000-10,000.
Both the bikes are of the 1000 cc category with NA Engines.
Why ZX 10R or ZX 10RR?
Now let’s see why these two people chose their respective bikes. Junaid shares his passion for bike racing and possesses technical knowledge of heavy bikes as well. His primary goal was to flash his bike, and he knew that both bikes have similar performance. After tuning, there might not be any difference left between the ZX 10R and ZX 10RR. So, he chose to save a few bucks and went for the ZX 10R.
On the other hand, Ahmed is more inclined towards street rides and wanted a lighter bike with great performance. On top of that, he is a vlogger and wanted a bike that he could passionately share the details of with his viewers. That is why he chose to switch from the 2019 KAWASAKI ZX-6R 636 to Kawasaki Ninja X 10RR.
Customizations
Both the owners have added after-market accessories to their bikes to have a more personalized touch.
10RR has modified DR shocks. The front of the bike is also track ready, with after-market winglets and a visor. The bike also has wing mirrors which the owner isn’t fond of. They give a nice look but do not have any aerodynamic quality or practicality. Other than that, the footrests and chain have also been modified.
10R has modifications focused more on performance. With a DNA filter that offers a good filtration level and competitively better air intake, the bike also has a flashed ecu and custom-made titanium fiber exhaust.
