Pakistan Suzuki has recorded the highest ever sales in the company’s history in July 2021. According to the company, it sold 15,207 units of vehicles last month. And not so surprisingly, Suzuki Alto is at the top of the list.

As per the company’s data, 6,115 units of Alto were sold, while 4,216 units of Cultus left the dealerships. The car manufacturer sold 2,133 Wagon R, and 226 Swift units. Moving forward, 1,554 units of Ravi and 953 Bolans were sold during this time period.

Lastly, 10 units of New Jimny hit the road, while there were no sales of Suzuki Vitara and APV.

Bike Sales:

The company has also shared the data of bike sales with PakWheels. As per the numbers, Suzuki sold 1,278 GD110S, 1,196 GS150SE, 150 GR150, thirteen GS150 and two units of GSX150F.

Probable Reason:

The primary reason behind these sales could be the new Auto Policy (2021-2026). Under the new policy, the federal government has removed Federal Excise Duty (FED) and General Sales Tax (GST) from cars up to 1000cc. And we all know that Pak Suzuki dominates this section. Most of the middle-class families bought a small car of Suzuki as their first car in Pakistan. As mentioned earlier, there is no strong competition for the car manufacturer in this section; hence, it enjoys dominance.

The new policy was implemented on July 1st, 2021, and apparently, consumers thronged on the Suzuki dealerships across the country. This also shows how much people were waiting for a reduction in car prices because, in just the first month, the sales of Suzuki have skyrocketed.

This is also a great sign for the Pakistan auto industry as it seems that it has started getting the benefits of the new auto policy. Hopefully, the companies will further transfer these benefits to the common buyers.

What is your take on this record-high sales of Suzuki? Are you one of the buyers? Share your thoughts in the comments section.

These stats are not correct! Why?

Because Suzuki delayed the invoice of vehicles for almost two months i.e. June & July…
