This is the 4th petrol price hike in Pakistan in the span of two months. First, the government increased the petrol price by Rs. 2.13 per liter on June 16, then by Rs. 2 per liter on June 30, then by Rs. 5.4 on July 15, and now by Rs. 1.71 on August 1.

In a way, this is the least price jump of all. Still, the rising curve of petrol prices cannot be ignored. The increasing petroleum prices are a pain for every Pakistani. However, it’s not only us. The petrol prices are on the rise in most international markets, so everyone’s under the grind.

Did you see this one coming or did you expect the government to go easy on the public? What do you think will happen on the next revision of petrol prices? Another hike or no hike?
