So, there is a serious buzz going on among the petrol heads because apparently, a very “sensational news” is circulating about the national car of Pakistan. A number of media outlets and social media pages have been reporting that one of the country’s most famous – or maybe most famous- car is making a comeback. Yes, you guessed right, we are talking about Suzuki Mehran.
For the last couple of days, multiple posts have been seen on social media claiming that Pak Suzuki is relaunching the VX (base variant) of the “The Boss” with AC at Rs. 825,000. And the people are excited, but is it true? As you know, we have always tried to bring authentic news to you, so we decided to do our own research, and this is what we found.
What We Found?
Our reliable sources told us that the news is totally fake and there is no chance of Mehran making a comeback. The experts believe it is not easy to relaunch a car because it needs a whole process, structure, and technical procedure. In short, bursting the bubble, we want to tell you that Mehran is not returning to our roads, not in the near future at least.
Another aspect that proves this news is fake is the price. In 2019, when Mehran was discontinued, its price was Rs. 880,000, and there is no way Suzuki can relaunch it at a lesser price and with AC. If launched – again, there is a big IF- the price would be around Rs. 13-14 lacs.
