Maruti Suzuki has showcased an accessorized version of the new Swift at a concert recently. The white colored Swift has a black roof and a couple of bold vinyl stripes on its hood. The hatchback also has a stag body kit, which adds side skirts and a bumper underlip. The alloy wheels are painted in yellow. To make its place in the concert, Maruti added music decals and installed a huge headset the on rear wheels of the car.
The Swift seen here is the diesel variant, powered by the 1.3-liter Fiat-sourced multijet engine producing, 74 bhp and 190 Nm of torque, with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Indian Engineers have modified the thermal management system and the fuel injection system of the engine to get more efficiency from it. As a result, the new Swift diesel returns 25.2 km/litre as against the older model’s 22.9 km/litre. The ZDi and ZXi variants are newly equipped with features like electrically adjustable and folding side mirrors, keyless entry and push button start, a Bluetooth enabled music system and buttons for accepting and ending phone calls on the steering wheel.
Maruti Suzuki has taken a positive step towards making technologically advanced vehicles, which is strengthening their place in the market and making fan base by bringing innovative changes in their products.
Pak Suzuki, on the other hand, is rumored to be making a new lightweight ‘grille’ for the Swift, which would lower the overall weight of the car and provide a significant improvement in the overall performance and fuel efficiency of the vehicle, as lower overall weight means improved power-to-weight ratio. The rumored new model of Swift would be called “All New Swift” and would have a slightly higher price tag than the current model.

i have heard from a suzuki rep, that in karachi office they are testing a new 1000cc car and he didn’t provide any further information says its confidential. Any news ??????
