Changan Alsvin Price Increased by Rs. 250,000
Changan’s well-known sedan, the Alsvin, is set to experience a price increase across all variants starting 1st May 2025. What’s notable is that this adjustment comes at a time when no other local automaker has announced a similar price hike, making Changan Pakistan the only company to revise prices twice this year.
The previous increase occurred in January 2025, when prices went up by Rs. 75,000. With this latest revision, customers planning to purchase an Alsvin may want to act quickly before the updated rates come into effect. Let’s take a closer look at the new pricing details.
Changan Alsvin – New Prices
Here’s a closer look at the revised pricing and how it compares to the previous rates.
- The Alsvin MT variant has increased in price from Rs. 3,849,000 to Rs. 4,099,000, reflecting a hike of Rs. 250,000.
- The Alsvin DCT now costs Rs. 4,649,000, up from its previous price of Rs. 4,399,000, marking an increase of Rs. 250,000.
- For the Alsvin DCT Lumiere, the new price is Rs. 4,799,000, compared to the earlier price of Rs. 4,549,000, showing a price jump of Rs. 250,000.
- The Alsvin DCT Lumiere Black Edition has also seen a rise in cost, now priced at Rs. 4,899,000, up from Rs. 4,649,000, which is an increase of Rs. 250,000.
While Changan hasn’t publicly detailed the reasoning, price hikes in the auto industry often stem from several factors such as:
- Currency fluctuations
- Rising production and import costs
- Regulatory changes
- Inflationary pressures on raw materials
Changan has remained competitive in the market by offering value-packed vehicles at attractive prices, and this increase likely reflects adjustments to maintain product quality and service standards amid changing economic conditions.
If you’re considering buying a Changan Alsvin, April 30th, 2025 is your deadline to make the most of the current pricing. With a price increase looming, now is the perfect opportunity to book your preferred variant and save a substantial amount.
