The launch of Proton SAGA is reportedly very near and you must have seen the pictures of CBU units on PakWheels. But as per our sources, the Al-Haj FAW Motors (local partner of Proton) has a surprise for you, which we think is a good one. The sources have revealed that along with a standard variant, Proton is all set to introduce a sports variant of the sedan, which surely be a huge attraction for buyers, especially the young ones.

Sports Variant of Proton SAGA:
The sources have stated that the this sports version is also known as R3. Although there is no information about its engine power as yet, however, the leaked photos have shown some exterior and interior details of the vehicle.
These photos have revealed that the car is in black color with yellow strips on front grille, front bumper, side skirts and doors. Furthermore, it has two tone side view mirrors with black and yellow colors.
Furthermore, the car has black interior with yellow stitched seats. The pictures have further revealed that the vehicle has an automatic transmission.
How Many of Sports Variants Have Arrived?
As per our sources, the company has imported 20 units of SAGA, and out of them around 5 or 6 are sports variants. It means Proton will test the car on Pakistani roads before launching it officially. Also, these cars were arrived in Pakistan around 10-12 days ago and have been delivered to Al-Haj Motors in Karachi.
The meaning of this information is that local market is going to get a new car, and importantly a sporty one. The R3 variant has the capability to be popular among the youngsters, who always love a chic and sleek car.
