The wait is over as Dewan Motors has launched the all-new BMW X7 xDrive40i in Pakistan and it’s on grand display at their showroom on 22nd and 23rd July 2019.
The luxurious and majestic looking BMW X7 is now officially available in Pakistan. The athletic styling and spacious designing of BMW X7 mark its presence on the road with an exclusive pack of modern-day features and functionalities. The German auto manufacturer has equipped it with the state of the art comfort throughout its three rows of seating. BMW X7 looks extremely charming and elegant from all the dimensions and certainly one of the units unparalleled within BMW. It’s offered in standard features with a few additional options as desired by the customers.
Power train & performance:
BMW X7 is a performance powerhouse equipped with a 6-cylinder 3.0-litre Twin Power Turbo Petrol engine under the hood. Its powerful 2998 cc engine can produce an output power of 340 hp and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. The performance of the majestic X7 can be evaluated through its acceleration from 0-100 km/h which can be achieved in 6.0 seconds and a top speed of 245 km/h as claimed by the auto manufacturer. On average, its fuel consumption is around 9.5 liters per 100 km. The total capacity of the fuel tank is approximately 83 liters.
Exterior:
BMW X7 has its special level of exclusivity when it comes to the exterior designing and finishing. The premium quality of body paint enriches the vehicle with a spectacular and captivating character. It’s manufactured with new dimensions of attraction for the customers. The detail of such an elegant piece of art makes it a stand out vehicle on the road. At the front, the distinctive and muscular styling separates it from any of its other competitors. The headlights are provided with the sleekest design that focuses on enhanced vision. The auto manufacturer has powered it with the BMW laser light surrounded by a blue-colored glow. The supreme quality of headlights offers intensified laser light with a range up to astonishing 600 meters; nearly twice as far as the conventional headlights. The striking double kidney grille appears as a single huge unit defining its design language. It reflects the iconic designing standards of German auto manufacturing giant that integrates the touch of chrome into its distinctive grille. Underneath, there is a pair of fog lights that complete the front end of the majestic BMW X7.
The V-spoke styled 20’’ light alloy wheels look magnificent from all the angles especially from the side view. The run-flat tyres of BMW X7 indeed embark their authority on all types of routes. Between the front and the rear tyres, there is another element of styling described as air breather which extends to the length of the vehicle. It resembles a hockey stick which adds a stunning decorative look to BMW X7 from the side view. The front and rear windows are border-lined with a strip of chrome that enhances the look by miles.
The rear side of BMW X7 has once again sleek-shaped LED rear lamps with a horizontal chrome strip extending to the width of the vehicle. The high-mounted brake lamp completes the design of the gracious X7 equipped with a rear windscreen wiper as well.
Interior:
The moment you enter BMW X7 until the moment you step out, it’s indeed a journey of matchless class, comfort supplemented by the modern features and functionalities. BMW X7 welcomes you with a white welcome light carpet on opening its door. The spacious interior instantly captivates all the attention with the next level of ambiance. The panoramic glass roof makes you feel like sitting in an open-air theater, thus leaving a long-lasting impact on its consumers. It is so designed as to bring a sensation of unrestricted spaciousness in a charming atmosphere inside the cabin. The cabin is equipped with a fine set of lights that generates a sensational atmosphere, particularly at night. The panoramic glass roof has light graphics which exposes the sky most astoundingly and can be switched between six colors of ambient light.
X7 offers a seating capacity for seven persons in the most comfortable way possible. The seats in the second row are equipped with separately adjustable armrests to ensure the luxurious ride for the passengers. The high-quality Vernasca Canberra Beige leather seats fascinate the passengers with the ultimate level of comfort. Glass application in the interior is particularly focused by the manufacturer in the gear selection lever, volume control, iDrive Controller and Start/Stop button. All of these are perfectly crafted with the hand-made crystal glass elements. The steering wheel is covering in sports leather to offer the best grip to the driver.
Luxury, Comfort, and Entertainment Features:
As mentioned earlier, the opening of the door illuminates the ground area with a projection of special light graphics. It doesn’t only welcome you but also assist in getting out of the car in the dark. BMW X7 has a keyless entry which allows you to lock, unlock, and even start the engine with a start/stop button. The temperature-controlled cupholders in the center console are yet another wonderful addition to BMW X7. They can be activated using the buttons on either side of them indicated with blue and red light for cooling and heating mode respectively. So carrying a cup of coffee or a cold beverage is no longer a worry as you drive the new X7. To add more luxury to the ride, the company has offered automatic air-conditioning with 4-zone control. It means that apart from the driver and the front passenger, all the passengers sitting in the second or third row can also adjust their climate independently. The front adaptive headlights offer luxury to the driver to concentrate on the road instead of continuously adjusting the intensity of light. BMW X7 has adaptive 2-axle air suspension which provides much stronger damping and the best possible balance for the vehicle and at the same time ensures the highest level of ride comfort at all terrains.
The seats also offer an electric adjustment feature which eliminates the manual adjustment with the help of a lever. It also has a Servotronic steering which adjusts the amount of steering assistance as per the speed of the vehicle. Cruise control feature is also available that takes over the throttle of the car to maintain a constant speed as set by the driver.
There is a lot more to be excited about in the BMW X7 as far as entertainment is concerned. It’s powered by surround sound system that delivers an extraordinary quality of sound. There are a total of 10 speakers evenly positioned inside the cabin to produce a total output power of 205 W. A 12.3-inch digital infotainment system is installed in the middle of the dashboard to keep the passengers entertained with their choice of music. BMW X7 is also equipped with BMW Live cockpit professional with navigation functionality integrated with the 12.3-inch control touch display. A power socket of 12V is also provided for charging purpose. X7 is powered by a Park Distance Control (PDC) feature which helps the driver while parking the vehicle. It uses ultrasonic sensors embedded in the front and rear side of BMW X7 to detect objects and warn the driver in time.
Additional feature:
Parking Assistant Plus comes as an additional feature in BMW X7 which helps in parking and maneuvering the vehicle easily. It is assisted by a rear-view camera, surround view system and a remote 3D view to help the driver in properly parking the vehicle without any hindrance.
Color & Price:
BMW X7 is available in black sapphire metallic color and priced at EUR 305,000, which is equivalent to Rs.54.62 million according to the current exchange rate. It is being exhibited at the Dewan Motors showroom on 22nd and 23rd July 2019.
