Today, we are doing an exclusive first look review of Pakistan’s first Land Cruiser LC300. This article will share brief details of this car’s exterior, interior, and safety features. So, without any further delay, let’s jump right into it.
Engine and Transmission
The first major change in the new model is that the mighty V8 engine, offered in 5.7L and 4.6L, is gone. The company has replaced V8 with a 3.5L Twin Turbo V6 engine, producing 415hp and 650Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic Triptronic transmission.
Exterior
There are major changes in the front look of the car. Toyota has extended the front grille to the bottom, while a black panel is spread from one headlight to the second one, which gives the car a muscular and bulky feel. The headlights are sleeker than the previous LC200, and they have DRLs and three projection headlamps with LED turn signals.
You will also find front parking sensors with headlight washers in the front. The car also has a body kit with chrome accents and LED fog lamps.
On the side, you will see that Toyota has extended the wheel archers to give the car a tough and rugged look. Meanwhile, the footrest has also been extended outwards. On the side, the SUV has 20-inch alloy wheels, chromed retractable side-view mirrors with cameras, sun visors, roof rail, and smart entry in all four doors. The overall side look of the car is quite boxy and muscular.
At the rear, the company has removed all the curves presented in the previous generation, giving it a tough look. Furthermore, you will see LED backlights, LED turn signals, reverse camera, auto trunk, rear wiper, high mounted brake lamp, and parking sensors in the lower body kit.
Interior
The interior’s look and feel have been totally redesigned. You will find wooden touch, leather armrest, window controls, side view mirrors control, and 3-way memory driver seat switches on the door panel. Furthermore, the driver seat is 6-way electric powered with lumbar support.
The steering is 3-spoke leather-wrapped with wooden touch in it. You will see controls for cruise control, lane departure warning, lane assist, and multimedia switches on the steering.
The main highlight of the interior is its infotainment system, and it has all the latest features. Under it, there are climate control’s conventional buttons because Toyota wants this car to remain durable.
The central console has buttons for the electronic parking brake, auto hold, and 4×4/off-road features. The size of the leather-wrapped armrest is quite big and can be accessed from both sides.
If we talk about the rear seats, they are very comfortable, and three adults can easily travel on them. You will find a rear entertainment unit, JBL twitters, rear climate control, sunroof, and LED dome lights. Meanwhile, the third row has two seats, but they are pretty small and suitable for kids. The third row also has AC vents, dome light, cup holders, and charging ports for your mobile.
Safety Features
The car has a number of safety features, including lane departure warning, cruise control, lane assist, blind-spot monitoring, smart braking, and 13 airbags.
