Following local car assemblers, motorcycle makers took the step and announced the first price hike of 2023. Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has increased Suzuki bike prices by Rs. 25,000 The company has not revealed the reason, but the price will definitely be inflated in the face of appreciating dollar’s rate.

As per the company’s official website, new prices are effective from February 1, 2023.

Here are the updated prices of Suzuki bikes.

New Suzuki Bike Prices

  • Suzuki GD 110S has seen a jump of Rs. 20,000. The bike’s new price is Rs. 264,000 against the old rate of Rs. 244,000.
  • The price of the Suzuki GS 150 has been increased by Rs. 20,000, and it will now cost Rs. 286,000 against the previous rate of Rs. 266,000.
  • Suzuki GSX 125 now costs Rs. 359,000 against the old price of Rs. 384,000. Meaning, bike’s price has inched up by Rs. 25,000.
  • Lastly, the company has increased the price of Suzuki GR 150 by Rs. 25,000 as its new price is Rs. 410,000 against the last rate of Rs. 385,000.

After the fresh rise, Suzuki’s bikes are no longer affordable for the inflation-stricken-salaried-middle class in the country. And in terms of price, Chinese bikes can now be the best option apart from weak resales and low build quality.

Swift Now Costs Rs. 41 Lacs

Not only bikes, Pak Suzuki also revised their car prices.  The company increased the prices up to Rs. 355,000 and Suzuki Swift GLX CVT, which used to cost Rs. 3,760,000 now costs Rs. 4,115,000. The reason of the price hike is devaluation of rupee and most importantly ban on the LCs by State Bank of Pakistan. It is pertinent to mention that the Suzuki hasn’t produced a single car in month of January 2023 as it has kept its production plant shut due to uncertain market and non availability of CKD kits.
