0 2,215

In the SUVs category, Hyundai Santa Fe has quickly made its name for its top build quality, comfortable ride, and unlimited options. After a couple of owner reviews about this Japanese built, this time we took aboard Faisal Azam, brother of Pakistan’s cricket team captain Babar Azam, to share his opinion about driving the Santa Fe. Let’s find out.

Purchase Decision

Considering the spiked fuel prices, hybrid cars seem most suitable in Pakistan these days. Since Faisal wanted a 7-seater SUV, among all the other options, including the Hyundai Tuscon, Kia Sportage, and Toyota Fortuner, the Hyundai Santa Fe clearly took a win.

Specs and Features

Santa Fe was launched in 2023 in Pakistan and captured the market instantly as it offered amazing features, including:

·        Cooling seats

·        Heated steering

·        Harmon Kardon sound system, great pick

·        Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

·        Largest sunroof

·        Head-up display

·        Drive mode: snow, mud, sand, sport, normal, eco

·        Rear AC vents

·        Dual Zone Climate Control

Performance

The best thing about this SUV is its pick. Usually, hybrids are not capable of giving good picks, but the Hyundai Santa Fe has debunked this myth. Faisal shared that up till now, he has covered 7,000 km on this SUV, and he can vouch for its driving comfort, great make, and solid drive. He also shared that its suspension is soft, and it has a great turning radius, which makes it best for off-roading. Not only this, but it is quiet from the outside and noiseless from the inside.

Its fuel average is 15 to 16 km/L within the city and the same on longer routes. It also comes with an alloy spare wheel and high-quality Continental tires, which is a plus point.

Missing Feature

One quality that Faisal wishes to be a part of is the Hyundai Santa Fe’s adaptive cruise control. Otherwise, it is a complete package full of options.
