“Locally Assembled Haval H6 Is Packed With Features” – First Look Review
Today we’re back with a first-look video of the locally assembled Haval H6, where we will discuss its specs and features while experiencing its drive. The Haval H6 was first launched in Pakistan last year, where the company was selling its CBU units. Now, Sazgar Engineering has finally launched its CKD units which are being assembled in Pakistan. The H6 is offered in 2 variants, a 1.5T and the top-spec 2.0T.
Powertrain
The H6 comes with two engine options. One has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine which produces 147 hp and 230 nm of torque. The top-spec variant has a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that pumps out 205 hp and 320 nm of torque, the highest power among all crossovers in the market. The 1.5T variant is FWD, while the 2.0T variant is AWD. Both these engines are configured with a 7-speed DCT transmission.
Salient Features
The Haval H6 is packed with features, including tablet-style information displays, leather interior with colour options, full LED lights, 19-inch alloy wheels in the 2.0T, electric seats, dual-zone climate control, etc. Safety features include 6 airbags, parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, ABS brakes with ESP, and traction control. The car has a list of ADAS features for driver assistance, including adaptive cruise control, auto reverse, auto park, lane assist, blind spot monitor, and much more.
1.5T vs. 2.0T
Apart from the engine, these 2 variants have some differences in features as well. These include rim size; the 2.0T gets 6 parking sensors in the front, while the 1.5T has 4. The 2.0T has a heads-up display, while the 1.5T doesn’t. There’s also a difference in the infotainment system size; the 1.5T has a 10.1-inch display, while the 2.0T has a 12.3-inch system. The 2.0T also gets extra ADAS features like auto reverse, auto park, and an electric passenger seat.
Braking Test
Upon executing a brake test on a slippery surface, the Haval H6 showcased impressive stability even with the driver’s hands off the steering wheel. The car didn’t lose grip at any point, and the Electronic Stability program managed to give sufficient traction to each wheel to ensure efficient stability and braking performance.
Suspension
The car’s suspension is very impressive and ideal for on-road and off-road travel. The suspension was tested by taking it through a multi-terrain track and it performed really well with no suspension noises or jerks. Overall the suspension is on the softer side.
Price
The current ex-factory price of the Haval H6 1.5T is PKR 74.25 lacs, while the 2.0T is priced at PKR 84.99 lacs. The car is available for booking, and deliveries have also been started.
