We’ve already established that all the models posted below the S-Class will be the direct representation of the S-Class itself. They will all be Baby S-Class, and the S-Class will be Papa S-Class. Not sure if you understand this analogy but the design it seems is a trickle down effect. But, but. The new E-Class looks so better over the out-going one, the proportions are finally fixed.
I think Mercedes also realizes this, and it is intentional design change over the year. The new E-Class now features a dashboard with full wood trim with a lot of metal accents that makes it the standard of the class. You can choose from 64 different ambiance light color. Then there’s the new ‘Mercedes interior signature’ that is the dual-screen display that is the instrument panel and central infotainment unit.
More amazing features to be introduced on the E-Class include: Steering wheel does not have a swipe function that is like how you do swiping on a mobile phone, the dual screen we talked about earlier is standard throughout the E-Class range and shows all infotainment and vehicle status information, and safety features include automatic braking and adjustable driver-alert system.

This is the era of downsizing engines, and thus, we’ve received details about the US version of the 2017 E-Class, which is a 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 241 HP and 273 lbs. Ft. Torques, this power, is transferred to the ground via a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic transmission. Currently, Europe is expected to get a plug-in E350e, E220d, and an E400 whereas an E63 AMG will sit out at the top and Pakistan will probably share some of these variants with Europe but not sure which will be the most popular.
