Chery Tiggo 4 Price Increased – Here is its New Rate

Amid economic uncertainty, ban on imports and problems with LCs, Chery Pakistan has increased the price of one of its crossover SUVs. According to details, the company has hiked the rate of Chery Tiggo 4 by Rs. 600,000, taking the price from Rs. 6,399,000 to Rs. 6,999,000. The price has been increased due to volatile economic condition and supply constraints, the company said in a statement. However, Chery is offering price lock on all new bookings of Chery Tiggo 4.

Plight of Local Auto Industry 

As mentioned earlier, the price hike is not surprising due to the current situation in Pakistan especially for auto industry. The local car sector is heavily dependent on the imports of major parts of vehicles, linking it directly to the foreign exchange rate. Meanwhile, the government has imposed different import constraints causing delays and even production shutdowns for different car companies. And with the non-issuance of LCs by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the situation has gone from bad to worse.

Sadly, the situation is expected to remain same in coming months as experts believe that it would take at least 2-3 years for the auto industry to bounce back from this plight. The economic condition is not getting better and mixing it with political instability, the picture gets bleaker.

The crossover will come with 1.5 Turbocharged CI engine, which produces 145hp and 210Nm of torque. Meanwhile, it has CVT Transmission and Three Driving Modes, Normal, Economy and Sport.

The car has LED Headlamps, LED DRLs and LED Rear Lamp. Furthermore, it has Sunroof and Roof Rails. And there are Boneless Wipers at front and back. Coming to the wheel size, the car has 17-inch Sports Alloy Wheels and Tyre Size is 215/60/R17. And there will be a Spare Tyre with the car.

Interior 

The car is 5-seater with Electronic Power Steering (EPS) which has Media Controls on it. The AC is Automatic Single Zone. The next one is 5.7-inch TFT Display Speedometer and 10.25-inch Central Console HD Infotainment System.

If we talk about the interior colour tone of the car, it is Black and Red, while the Seat Material is PVC.

Comfort 

The Driver Seat is 6-Way Manual Adjustable, while the Passenger Seat is 4-Way Manual. The car also has features like Cruise Control, Smart Key, and Push Start. To increase the comfort of the owner, the company has also installed Reverse Camera, Immobilizer, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The features and options show that the car is very comfortable to travel, which is a a great thing.

Safety 

The new Chery Tiggo 4 Pro will come with 2 Airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS) and Emergency Brake Distribution (EBD). The other features are Roll Stability Control (RSC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and Hill Descent Control (HDC). Last but not least, the car has Speed Limiter Reminder System in it.
