Make and Model
In light currently is the Kawasaki GTO 125 from the model 1991 in original condition. The owner has a special corner for the Kawasaki brand for which he considered keeping the bike with all its genuine parts. He shared that he bought a 32-year-old Kawasaki in rough condition and got it registered 2 years back.
Restoration
While restoration, he was passionate about keeping everything genuine so he imported original Kawasaki kits that included grips, cables, ignition, reflector, rim, chain cover, and head cylinder. For super finishing he preferred overall chrome finish that gave the GTO 125 an ultramodern feel. Abdul Qadir claims that this bike is in 95% original condition with genuine headlights, speedometer, number plate, and even the key and monograms are genuine.
Upgrade Cost
Qadeer showed his despair in Pakistani market inflation and reviewed about the increased car parts prices and how he faced challenges in ordering them.
He also shared an insight that genuine KAWASAKI mechanics prefer high wages and are difficult to deploy. However, with his unwavering enthusiasm he managed the overall restoration.
Fuel Economy
Kawasaki is a brand that demands loyalty only. With that it can go up to 140 km range and covers 0 to 100 in just 8 seconds on a 3rd gear.
Moreover, it gives a promising fuel economy, provided 25km/per litre on average.
