Photos – First Honda HR-V Delivered to the Owner

Honda Atlas has today delivered the first locally assembled Honda HR-V to its owner. The company held an event in Lahore. The delivered unit is white colored VTi S (top of the line variant). As per an Honda official, the owner booked this car on October 22, 2022 and he received it today.

Here are exclusive photos of the ceremony held in a dealership of the company. Top officials of Honda company were present at the ceremony of handing over the crossover to its new owner.

The car was launched by the company last month in two variants i.e., VTi and VTi S. The launch price of these variants were Rs. 5,999,000 and Rs. 6,199,000 respectively. Earlier the company announced that the delivery time of the car is October 2022, however, after just a few days the launch date has been pushed to July 2022.

As per the dealerships of the company, all the slots till July 2022 have been filled, hence, HR-V is not available before it. So, if you are planning to book new HR-V, remember the time of the delivery. Meanwhile, here are differences between these two variants.

Dimensions

The HR-V VTi-S is 171-inch long, 71-inch wide, and 63-inch high, whilst BR-V i-VTEC S is 175-inch long, 69-inch wide, and 66-inch-inch high. Here, the latter is longer than the former but lags in width and height.

Power and Transmission 

HR-V VTi-S is powered with a 1500cc naturally aspirated engine carrying capacity to produce 119hp and 145 Nm of torque. 

On the other side, BR-V is also equipped with a 1500cc turbocharged engine producing 120 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. Both cars are mated with CVT transmission. This faceoff reveals that the duo is equal in power.

Discussing the driving modes, HR-V VTi-S offers ECO and Normal driving modes against no mode in its competitor. Here, the latter marks a clear edge over the BR-V.

Exterior

Coming to style and design, BR-V has Halogen headlights against LED headlights in HR-V VTi-S. Each car comes with LED DRLs and Front Fog Lights. The alloy wheel size in HR-V is 17-inch, while BR-V offers 16-inch wheels in the car. Here again, the newly launched HR-V takes an edge over its competitor. 

Interior

highlighting the interior, both cars offer push start and smart keyless entry. Moreover, VTi-S flaunts 4.2″ TFT with an analog display against an analog Meter with a MID display in BR-V. Again, the duo has manual driver and passenger seat adjustment.

Both cars offer rear AC vents, rear USB ports, 4 speakers, and 9″ android-based navigation. However, HR-V VTi-S has front and rear cameras compared to just the rear in BR-V. No sunroof in both Honda’s vehicles.

Safety Features

HR-V has 4 airbags, whereas BR-V has only 2. Vehicle stability assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Hill Descent Control (HDC), emergency stop signal (ESS), electronic parking brake (EPB), wireless charger, and ABD are additional features in VTi-S. While Anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and EBD are the only safety features in BR-V.
