The Federal Government of Pakistan is reportedly increasing the prices of petroleum products by up to PKR 12 in the country from Ist June 2019, reports a local media outlet.
As per the details, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on 30th May will forward the summary of price increase to the government. And after the approval of the Prime Minister of Pakistan the rates will be revised starting next month.
The price of gasoline might increase by PKR 10 per liter while that of high-speed diesel and kerosene oil by PKR 12 whereas the rate of light-diesel oil might surge by PKR 8. The suggestions are being made due to fluctuation in the prices of oil products in the international market and the devaluation of rupee against the US dollar.

The Government will take the final decision on oil prices on 31-5-2019.
Current oil prices are below:
Petrol: Rs.108.42 per liter
High-speed diesel: Rs.122.32 per liter
Kerosene oil: Rs.86.94 per liter
Light-speed diesel: Rs.96.77 per liter
