Yesterday, Kia Motors Pakistan shared a teaser social media post, hinting something new is coming. The post read, “What makes you roar? Is it the adventure on the road or the thrill on the streets? What comes next insists on your attention. Stay tuned.” A black and white artwork with the post showing a tiger on a beach announcing, “A special roar for the special “You” Coming Soon.
What Could It Be?
Not surprisingly, it got our attention, and we decided to dig and find out what Kia Pakistan plans next. We contacted our sources and initially got little information. But a bit more digging revealed something interesting, and the sources gave some information. Before this update, focus on the artwork, especially the colors, which are black and white, and interestingly, the update is related to these colors.
As per our sources, the post is related to Kia Sportage, the company’s biggest product in the local market. If you remember, the car assembler launched a special black edition of Sportage in May 2023. The new features in this edition were:
- 19-inch black alloy rims
- Glossy black front grille
- Black molding side sill
- Dark satin finish molding beltline
- Glossy black skid plate
- Premium black leather seats
Now, the latest update and social media, as per our sources, is also related to this crossover SUV. They claimed that the company is planning to introduce a “white color for this special black edition.” Yes, you heard that right; let me repeat: a white color for the black edition. Although it sounds strange, the black edition means black grille, alloys, and skid plates, and the white color is the most popular in Pakistan regarding cars. That is why Kia has decided to introduce the white color for this special edition.
