Jinnah’s Rolls Royce
This Rolls Royce of 1947 holds importance from two different perspectives. It was initially designed for Queen Elizabeth’s tour to the sub-continent, but when the tour got canceled, this vintage wheeler was bought by the Quaid e Azam for his personal use. It was a hand-built car with inverse doors. The first Governor General of Pakistan used it for his daily commute. It is preserved in original condition with a wooden interior, working tray, footrest, armrest, sofa seats, and a window with a private cabin.
Jaguar E-Type
This was a 1966 model with an in-line 4.2 engine. It was a coupe version whereas a convertible variant was also an option in the 60’s. It was a beautiful shape with a unique rear design. Having a wooden interior with water, oil, and pressure gauges it looks like a cockpit. However, its roof lining was restored with Alcantara. And the center-positioned exhaust makes its exterior worth watching.
Corvette 1958
Moving on to the American vintage beauty, a Kawasaki 1958 classic with manual transmission and a V8 engine. Two of these Corvettes came to Pakistan; one was destroyed in an accident, but the other was preserved in its genuine form. It was definitely a history preserved with a red interior, antique speedometer, dual exhausts integrated within the bumper, non-conventional wheel arches, and a uniquely positioned rear glass view mirror.
Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
The Karmann Ghia looks exactly like a Porsche. It was a left-hand car originally driven by a lady who worked in the German embassy—featuring a red interior, a 1300 CC engine, and a manual transmission.
