All Honda City lovers thought that the car’s official launch was around the corner. Our sources told us that Honda Atlas will be launching the car on July 12, 2021. So, we got excited that the wait would be over after soon. It’s been more than a week, and there’s still no news. Dear Honda, where is the new City?

It is pertinent to mention that the company opened the booking of the car in May 2021. As per our reports, the company has booked thousands of cars, although no one has seen the car.

Expected Price:

And the second news about the car is the expected price. Our sources have claimed that the price of the top-of-the-line Honda City will be around Rs3.3million (33-lacs).

Honda City Teasers: Is it 6th Gen or 7th?

For last couple of months, the company has been releasing different teasers of this new sedan. In different social media posts, the car manufacturing company has shown the parts and glimpses of exterior and interior. By the looks of exterior, it seems Pakistan is going to get 6th generation. However, a photo of interior hinted that it will be a 7th generation. This started a debate on social media. So, we decided to do a little bit of research.

We did very basic photo sharpness and contrast changes to the teaser image, which revealed some more minor details. Like many auto enthusiasts who keep an eye on everything, this image reminded me of something from November 2019. This picture was part of official Honda press photos from Thailand with the 7th generation Honda City was revealed. It is evident that Honda Atlas’s graphic design and marketing team used an overseas image and pasted two deployed frontal airbags [ image one below ] to portray the safety feature.

We think that Honda Atlas graphic design and marketing team didn’t realize and used the 7th generation interior picture instead of the 6th generation while creating the airbags safety feature teaser for the upcoming local Honda City.
