The GR in GR HV Sports stands for Gazoo Racing which is Toyota’s motorsports arm. On the other hand, the T in TJ stands for “toolbox, ” and J stands for “joy.”
The Toyota GR HV Sports concept, as the name suggests is a sports car concept and is heavily inspired by Toyota 86 sports coupe. However, when you look at the frontend, you will notice how radically different it is from the current 86. But 86 is not the inspiration there. You get Toyota’s Targa top in the concept car as well which is reminiscent to Toyota Supra. But what is under the hood changes everything. GR HV Sports concept comes equipped with the same drivetrain that is present in Toyota’s Le Mans and WEC racing TS050 race car.
The second vehicle is the Toyota Tj Cruiser crossover concept. Toyota stepped in the crossover category with its C-HR vehicle. But the Tj Cruiser crossover takes the slightly different approach. Toyota has tried to develop a vehicle that van not only be used an SUV but also as a van. The practicality is the key here. But unlike the GR HV Sports concept, Tj Cruiser crossover concept comes only with a 2.0L hybrid drivetrain.Whether these vehicles materialize or not, that is another story. But they surely look great.
