Suzuki Swift lovers in India will soon cruise down the road in all-new fourth generation Maruti Swift next month. As per the reports coming from Indian auto industry, Maruti Suzuki India is expected to release the car on May 9.

Upcoming car promises a fresh look coupled with India-specific enhancements setting to captivate automotive enthusiasts and loyalists alike.

The exterior of the new Swift boasts a harmonious blend of sleekness and modernity, featuring LED headlights integrated with L-shaped LED DRLs. Notably, all the Indian variants get a chrome surround around the front grille.

Moreover, revisions in the front and rear bumpers lend a distinct character to the India-specific model, ensuring it stands out among the its competitors. Coming down, diamond-cut alloy wheels have replaced same five-spoke aero blade-style alloy wheels elevating vehicle’s aesthetic appeal.

Interior Elegance and Safety Assurance

Step inside, and the swift welcomes the occupants with a premium dual-tone dashboard layout reminiscent of its European counterparts. The official images of the car are awaited, expectations are high for a smart and vibrant cabin ambience, complemented by a user-friendly interface.

Equipped with amenities like automatic climate control, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple Carplay, all-new Swift promises a comfortable and connected journey.

Discussing the safety features, the car comes with six airbags, EBD, ESP, and ABS ensuring peace of mind for occupants. While standard safety elements like three-point seatbelts for all passengers are included, certain advanced features like a 360-degree camera and ADAS may not be available in the Indian variant.

Under the hood, the new Swift boasts a potent 1.2-litre Z series 3-cylinder petrol engine delivering a robust performance of around 83 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. While international variants offer both manual and CVT automatic transmissions, the Indian market will likely receive the manual transmission and AMT gearbox options. Highlighting the price, the all-new swift is anticipated to come with a price tag of INR 6.5 lac.
