Changan Master Motors has increased the car prices of its all models. In a notification to the dealers, the company said that global shipping cost has increased to record high level due to COVID-19 Delta variant, especially in South Asian countries. “In order to continue serving our customers, we are left with no other option but to pass some of the cost increase on product price,” Changan said.
The company hoped that dealers will understand this situation and explain it to customers. The new prices on all Changan products are effective from August 25, 2021 (today). It is pertinent to mention that these are ex-showroom prices.
New Changan Car Prices
The new price of top of the line Alsvin 1.5L DCT Lumiere is Rs2,709,000, means it has seen a rise of Rs1,20,000 from its old price of Rs2,589,000. Meanwhile, the Alsvin 1.5L DCT also saw a jump of Rs120,000 as its new price is Rs2,519,000 as compared to its previous rate of Rs2,399,000. Lastly, the new price of Alsvin 1.3L Manual (MT) is Rs2,269,000, against its old rate of Rs2,149,000, meaning it also has seen a jump of Rs120,000.
Meanwhile, Changan’s MPV, Karvaan Standard has seen a jump of Rs120,000 as its new price is Rs1,519,000 as compared to its old rate of Rs1,399,000. The price of second variant, Changan Karvaan Plus has also been increased by Rs120,000 as its new rate is Rs1,659,000 against the previous price of Rs1,539,000.
Last but not the least, the new price of Changan M9 is Rs1,354,000 as compared to its old rate of Rs1.234,000. It means it has also seen an increase of Rs120,000.
Note:
As per the company, all bookings with payment instrument dated August 24, 2021 or earlier will be accepted on old price. Meanwhile, all government, corporate or bank financing customers with payment instrument dated till August 27, 2021 will be accepted on old price.
Finally, the Down Payment for Alsvin cars are Rs500,000, for Karvaan it is Rs320,000 and for M9 it is Rs270,000.
