In a shocking discovery, an Indian website has revealed that Toyota Kirloskar Motor will be launching a facelift of its flagship passenger car on 15th March 2017. With the likes of Hyundai Elantra taking a significant chunk of Corolla’ sales in the mid-size sedan market, the Japanese giant’ Indian subsidiary has decided to grant its flagship vehicle a mid-life facelift.

Reportedly, the updates are only cosmetic with some added features. We have seen a lot of pictures surfacing on the internet with sleeker LED lights and a revamped front grill. If the reports are correct then it’s safe to assume that this new Corolla facelift will be offered with a redesigned set of bumpers, a new chrome grill and LED headlights with DRL’s for its top of the line variants. Additionally, the model is also expected to feature a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
