Due to the continuous increase in bike prices, it has become hard for the common person to buy them with cash. For reference, the current price of the Honda CD 70 is Rs. 154,900, which is undoubtedly not affordable for a middle-class person amid this high inflation and unstable economy. Meanwhile, the companies are also facing issues in selling these high priced two-wheelers. To resolve the problem, the companies are launching installment plans for the consumers and, interestingly, with 0% markup.

Yamaha has launched a couple of such plans earlier, and following its competitor’s footsteps, Atlas Honda has also introduced a similar plan in partnership with a private bank. According to an announcement, the offer is only available on Bank Alfalah’s Credit Cards. Although the Markup is 0%, the bank will charge a 2.5% processing fee of the product’s price and Federal Excise Duty (FED).

Installment Plan for Honda CD 70

According to a post, the plan goes up to 36 months with Rs. 6948 installments per month. But the interesting thing is that 0% is only available on 3 and 6 months plans with Rs. 49,967 and Rs. 24,983 monthly payments.

Plan for Honda CG 125

The plan for Honda CG 125 also goes up to 36 months with Rs. 10,331/month installment. Like CD 70, the 0% Markup is only offered for 3 and 6 months with Rs. 74,300 and Rs. 37,150 monthly installments, respectively.

Commenting on this news, the economist Abdul Rehman said: “From 20-30K “ON” to 0% interest on Honda bikes. All within 18 months, how quickly things change in Pakistan.”

So, if you plan to buy a Honda CD 70 or CG 125 but don’t have the cash in hand, this is a good opportunity for you, considering you are a customer of Alfalah Bank.
