What should we call the Nissan GTR R35 ‘Godzilla’?

I believe it aptly satisfies the brutal, speedy, and satisfying drive that we can get from a GTR. It is the beast every GenZ car enthusiast wants. A supercar designed in the Japanese way brings you choices like Toyota Supra and Nissan Nismo, but if you are not a track person, then this R35 is for you.

Nissan GTR R35 – Legacy

Born in 1969 under the badging of ‘Skyline’ in Japan, it was a track car famous for its road handling and straight speed too. Since then, it received several facelifts and entered the European market in 2008. Its unique selling proposition was its fast car specs at half the price of the European options. Competing against models like the Ferrari F430, Porsche Turbo, and Lamborghini Gallardo, the Nissan GTR brought a name for its hand-built quality. What we see today is the fifth generation of this sportscar offering three trim levels: GT-R Premium, T-Spec, and Gt-R Nismo.

2021 Black Edition Features

Sikander bought the 2021 Nissan GTR R-35 in Rs. 12 crores which is half the price of what you pay for an equivalent specs Porsche. Besides its stunning looks, this black edition had Recaro seats with stitching and black leather, alloy wheels, beautiful canards, Apple CarPlay, Digital Climate Control, Diff Lock, adjustable steering and odometer, and a Bose stereo system.

Performance

Known for its launch control, the hand-built engine of the 2021 GTR in bone-stock condition can produce raw power of 542HP and is fully ripe to go up to 1200HP with tuning. Under the hood was a 3.8L V6 engine with an all-wheel drive that could sprint from 0-60 in 3 seconds only.

GTRs have always been trailblazers to supercars and need no babbling about their power, performance, and speeding abilities, but if you need a teaser, you can watch the great Hollywood hit Gran Turismo, directed by Neil Blomkamp.
