After observing a series of non-production days, Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) comes with good news for hatchback lovers. Pak Suzuki has resumed the booking of its cars except for its top seller, dubbed Alto.

In a recent social media post, PSMC officially announced that it has re-opened the booking of Swift GL MT, Cultus VXR & VXL, Wagon R VXR & VXL, Ravi and Bolan. Previously, the company informed us that it has no immediate plan to resume the assembly operations in the country from January 16.

What Suzuki’s Earned Last Month?

Pak Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) followed the INDU footprints – sales decreased by 8%. Company sold 11,342 units last month contra 12,387 units in November. (MoM decline: 8%)

Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company sold 6,898 units of Alto, 1,057 units of Suzuki Cultus, 872 units of Suzuki Wagon R, 1,428 units of Suzuki Swift, 464 units of Suzuki Bolan, and 623 units of Suzuki Ravi.

CBU Cars Mysteriously Removed from Pak Suzuki Website

Pak Suzuki, one of the Big3 of local automobile industry, has silently removed its Completely Build Units (CBUs) lineup from its website. If you visit the company’s website, go to Products and press Automobiles button, you will only see the locally assembled vehicles by the Suzuki, including Alto, Swift, Bolan, Wagon R and Cultus.

The Pak Suzuki CBU cars included Suzuki Vitara, Jimny and APV and it seems after Suzuki Ciaz and Mega Carry, the company has decided to end these imported vehicles as well. One of the major reasons could be the low sales as local industry is phasing through a tough time for last many months.

we contacted the officials of Pak Suzuki for their comment on the matter. However, the car maker has not sent any reply till the publishing of this article. We will add the company’s point of view in the piece, once we receive one.
