Periodic Maintenance of Hyundai Santro:
First Year:
As we have told you earlier, that 5,000 kilometers or 3 months is the maintenance interval of every car in Pakistan. So, the periodic maintenance of Hyundai Santro after 5,000, 15,000, 25,000 and 35,000 kilometers are all same.
The 5,000km maintenance include Engine Oil, Oil Filter and General Checkup and its cost is around Rs4,650.
Meanwhile, service after 10,000 km is done once in a year. This service includes Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, General Checkup, Engine Tuning, Throttle Body Service and Tyre Rotation at the cost of Rs8,450.
The first year’s major service comes after 20,000km, including Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Spark Plug, General Checkup, Engine Tuning, Throttle Body Service, and Tyre Rotation. This will cost you around Rs11,250.
After this, your first year’s service is completed at the total cost of Rs29,000, meaning Rs2,417 per month.
Second Year:
In second year, your car completes the interval of 20,000km to 40,000km. The service after 25,000 and 35,000km include Oil Filter, Engine Oil and General Checkup at cost of Rs4,650.
The 30,000km service is same as 10,000km service. In this service the mechanic checks car’s Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, General Checkup, Engine Tuning, Throttle Body Service and Tyre Rotation and its price is Rs8,450.
Biggest Maintenance Service:
It comes after 40,000km and done once in two years. It is pertinent to mention that services after 40,000, 80,000 and 1,20,000km are same. This includes Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Spark Plug, Gear Oil, Fuel Filter, Fan Belt, AC Belt, Brake Fluid, General Checkup, Engine Tuning, Throttle Body Service, Tyre Rotation, Chemical Replacement, Transmission Oil Replacement, Belts Replacement and Brake Service. This service will cost you Rs19,825.
In total, second year’s service will cost you around Rs37,575, meaning Rs3,131 per month. In two years, the per month maintenance cost of Santro is Rs2,774.
