Highlighting the front fascia of the car, crossover’s supermini version shows off the updated lion badge. Three elongated vertical light claws and distinctive light signature extends seamlessly into the full-LED headlights, establishing a visual link with the vertical bars positioned in the bumper. The grille showcases a revised pattern and features body-colored accents, resulting in a cohesive integration with the bumper. This unique front-light attribute is now incorporated into all versions of the new 208.

Power

Regarding the engine options, the entry-level version of the 208 is equipped with a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder engine that delivers 75 horsepower to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The more powerful variant offers 100 horsepower and is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. If you opt for the 208 with a mild-hybrid engine, available in either 100 or 136 horsepower, it will come with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The E-208 model is powered by an electric motor that delivers 156 horsepower. It is equipped with a 51-kWh battery pack, providing enough energy for a range of 249 miles (400 kilometers) in the WLTP combined cycle.

The E-208 supports charging at a rate of 100 kW, allowing for a quick charge time of less than 25 minutes to go from 20 to 80 percent battery capacity. At a lower charging rate of 7.4 kW, the charging time is approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes, while at 3.2 kW, it will take around 11 hours and 10 minutes.

Peugeot is planning to make the facelifted 208 available for sale in November. Since its launch in late 2019, nearly one million units of this generation have been sold.
