Today we’re back with the owner’s review of Basha OP’s 2016 Honda Civic. Basha is a well-known content creator from Peshawar, and today he shares his experience with his recently acquired Honda Civic. The 10th gen Civic was launched in the latter half of 2016 in 3 variants. This particular car is the mid-spec oriel variant; it has a 1.8-liter engine producing 141hp and 174 nm of torque. This engine is paired with a CVT transmission delivering its power to the front wheels.

Purchase Decision

The owner was previously driving a Toyota Aqua, but he always admired the 10th gen Civic’s aesthetics. He also wanted to modify his car; hence Civic was the perfect fit due to its sporty exterior and strong aftermarket support. He bought a very maintained car for 3.7 million rupees.

Modifications

The owner has modified this civic, mainly on the exterior. These include aftermarket LED headlamps, a Type R style body kit, 18-inch alloys with low profile tyres, coil overs on which the car is dropped, and complete black treatment on chrome points making this car look very aggressive. According to the owner, all of these modifications took him only a week to complete. He also plans to install air suspension in the future along with some interior modifications, which currently is completely stock.

Fuel Average

Civics are not known to be very fuel efficient, but surprisingly, the owner gets 13 km/l within the city. As per him, even if the car is aggressively driven, it still gives 12 km/l, which is very impressive.

Maintenance

According to the owner, he’s very particular about the engine’s health; hence he’s able to get a decent fuel average. He gets the oil changed every 4,000 kilometers, which costs around 9 to 10,000 rupees, including the filters.
