Sarfaranga Cold Desert Rally 2023 Winners

The Sarfaranga Cold Desert Rally, organized by PakWheels.com, wrapped up on the evening of October 8th, 2023, marking the end of an exhilarating journey filled with remarkable race times and captivating entertainment. Spanning three days, starting from October 6th, this high-energy event featured the spirited participation of 55 racers, including talented women drivers, who demonstrated their skills on the racing track. 

The rally commenced at 10.30 am on October 6th with a warm welcome from Commissioner Baltistan. Local groups treated the audience to vibrant performances, and the day featured additional competitions such as horse racing and tent pegging. The races officially started at 1 o’clock, setting the stage for a thrilling weekend.

Day 2 of the Sarfaranga Cold Desert Rally began with qualifying rounds, leading to competitions like the Zakh and Dafang contests, as well as rock climbing at Blind Lake Side. The day unfolded with a Soccer Show Match and Polo Final Match, adding to the diverse range of activities.

The final day, the grand finale, witnessed the climax with the Sarfaranga final race, followed by an evening of musical performances. PakWheels shared their remarks, and the winners were honored during the prize distribution ceremony. The event concluded with the winning participants rightfully basking in the glory of their achievements.

Category A-Prepared

This is the race’s top category, and the country’s best drivers took part in it. Adil Naeem claimed the 1st position. Qadir Nawaz Sangi showcased skill, securing the 2nd position and Amjad demonstrated prowess, earning the 3rd position.

Category  B-Prepared

Qasim Sedhi triumphed in the 1st position. Followed by Gohar Sangi who secured the 2nd position. Suneel Manj demonstrated prowess, earning the 3rd position.

Category C-Prepared

Category C-Prepared witnessed remarkable performances, with Usama Ameer claiming the 1st position. Umar Kajoo showcased skill, securing the 2nd position. Abdul Rahman Joyia earned the 3rd position.

Category D-Prepared

Navigating the challenging D-Prepared category, Zaafar Baloch triumphed in the 1st position. Tajkhan Mar showcased skill, securing the 2nd position. Shaqeel Barchoondi demonstrated mastery, earning the 3rd position.

Category A-Stock

Moving on to Category A-Stock, the winners displayed exceptional driving prowess with M. Marwat clinching the 1st position. Aqeel Ahmad showcased talent in the 2nd position. Babar Mahmood secured an admirable 3rd position.

Category B-Stock

In the fiercely contested Category B-Stock, the winners emerged triumphantly. Mehcail Ali took the top spot, claiming the 1st position. Major Yasir displayed skill to secure the 2nd position. Hatim Qader demonstrated skill, earning the 3rd position.

Category C-Stock

Category C-Stock witnessed intense competition, with Rashid Abdullah standing tall at the 1st position. Zuhair Ali exhibited skill, securing an impressive 2nd position. Shehzad Satti showcased driving expertise, claiming the 3rd position.

Category D-Stock

Stepping into the challenging terrain of Category D-Stock, the winners showcased their mettle, and Falak Sher triumphed in the 1st position. Jameel Amdani demonstrated skill, securing the 2nd position. Khawaja Akram exhibited prowess, earning the 3rd position.

Category Women Stock

In the Women Stock category, the spotlight shone on Gul Nasreen, securing the 1st position, and Fareeta Batool, claiming an impressive 2nd position.

Fastest Time of the Day

In the FTD Stock (Fastest Time of the Day) category, Michael Ali emerged as the undisputed winner.

For the prepared category’s fastest time of the day, Abid Naeem showcased exceptional speed and skill.

Among the bikers, Zaigham Chohan proved to be a force to be reckoned with, securing a well-deserved victory.
