In a bid to facilitate the consumers, the incumbent government has come up with the perfect thing – formed a complaint center against auto manufacturers. Ministry of Industries and Production has established a complaint management system with the intent to manage consumer complaints related to any aspect of consumer interaction with local automakers/assemblers.
Consumers can file a complaint regarding:
- Delayed delivery of vehicles
- Bookings related problems
- More than 20% advanced payment demand by car assembler or its dealer/agents
- Increase in prices of cars after final contract and payment
- Issues I reimbursement of KIBOR+3% penalty payment
And any other policy pertaining to the complaint. Moreover, All the customers are advised to register their complaints with

“In their best interest, customers are also advised to thoroughly scrutinize the provisional Booking order Form before booking their vehicles and report any violation against the approved Automotive Industry Development & Export Policy (AIDEP 2021-26), available on the website; www.engineeringpaksitan.com At the time of registering complaint, customer may kindly provide their complete contact details and address, as well as details of PBO and CNIC in case has already been booked”.
In the past few years, we found a number of customers complaining about late car deliveries and build quality (misaligned and Off-balance fitting) of their newly purchased cars. Earlier, we wrote about such issues as painted door of Alto and a new swift with a faulty transmission. And from now, the newly-established complaint center will be the voice of the consumers.
