Uber, organised one of its kind interactive event namely “Uber Jahaan” for its Partner Drivers at Expo Center, Lahore on 16th March 2019.
It was a fun day out for Uber family, where partner drivers with their families interacted with each other. There were music, food and activities of all sorts for the attendees. Furthermore, Uber organised this event to appreciate the efforts of its drivers that are making the company prosper in Pakistan. Taking good care of its partner drivers and enhancing the visibility and penetration of the company were two of the main reasons behind organizing this event.
Providing hassle-free rides to the people of Pakistan is their mission and they are doing it for quite some time now. People thronged the event, over 25,000 people came at the event.
Uber’s General Manager of Pakistan, Safee Shah while talking at the event said, “Our aim with this expo is to ensure that drivers get experience beyond earnings, we shared the main highlights, and successes from the year. We figured the best way to do this was to engage them and their families at a forum where all could come together and enjoy a day of leisure and entertainment. I also express my gratitude to the partners from manufacturing to the automobile industry, corporations and government for extending their support and making this event a success.”
