MG’s premium SUV, MG HS, has won the hearts of many Pakistanis. Launched in November 2020, MG HS has made quite an impression on SUV lovers, and the imported CBU units have captured the market. But the show has just started, as the MG HS PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is now in town. Limited number of CBU units are up for sale.

MG HS Plug-In Hybrid model is available at the price of Rs. 7.89 million. You can book it for Rs. 2.5 million with an expected delivery in December 2021. One CBU unit is up for display at MG Lounge, Packages Mall, Lahore. Here are exclusive pictures of the model on display.

A Look At The MG HS PHEV

The MG HS Plug-In Hybrid is the most powerful MG ever, producing 256 horsepower and 370 Nm torque. A 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a 90 kW hybrid electric motor drive the car with a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Together, the hybrid powertrain can take the vehicle for up to 55 kilometers per liter.

For all the critics who have special concerns about the charging of EVs, hang on. The MG HS PHEV can be charged overnight via a home 7 kW fixed wall charger, taking approximately 5 hours. So far PHV are not successful in Pakistan die non availability of enroute power stations and charging facilities. We need to invest there to make it a success, else these would be doomed soon before it takes off. People are to remain cognizant of this fact and be watchful please
