We all know Paul William Walker, most commonly known as Brian O’Conner, because of his role in the franchise “The fast and furious.” The late Paul Walker (September 12, 1973 – November 30, 2013) was an American actor who passed away in a tragic car accident at the age of 40 when his driver Roger Rodas crashed his Porsche resulting in on spot-death.

Lately, an auction was held where cars owned by Paul Walker were auctioned, and they were sold for a total of $2.33 million during spirited bidding at an annual car auction in Arizona, according to the officials. The collection of cars owned by late Paul Walker produced solid outcomes at the week-long Barrett-Jackson sell-off in Scottsdale, with an Alpine White 1995 BMW M3 Lightweight getting the single top cost of $385,000 in the last day of offers on Saturday. It was one of five such BMW lightweights, of which 126 were assembled worldwide, sold at the sale.

“People were clearly paying a premium for his cars,” said Jonathan Klinger, a spokesman for Michigan-based classic car insurer Hagerty. “With these prices, the late actor appears to be poised to become the next Paul Newman of celebrity car collectors.”

Eighteen vehicles and three bikes, which were possession of Walker that spread over five decades, crossed the square before the mallet descended for the last time. Among the group, top choices were a custom 2009 Nissan 370Z, which showed up in the “Fast Five” film. The low-mileage vehicle sold on Thursday for $105,600, the most costly value paid for a 370Z at sell-off.

Surprisingly all of the twenty cars were sold at the auction in a day, putting up a healthy amount of $2.33 million.

Also interesting to know that aside from the auctioned cars, Walker had a huge variety of expensive and inexpensive cars. 30 of which were stolen by a guy named Richard Taylor the day after his tragic death. Taylor worked at the warehouse where these cars were parked and illegally removed them for personal benefit. Anyways the cars were later recovered, which includes the silver 370z as well as the Alpine BMW lightweight, but most other cars didn’t make it to the auction since they held no historical or technological value.
